The world-class entertainment venue, Gilley’s, now located in Dallas, Texas, is busy all day and night hosting locals and tourists. With 91,000 square feet of space, the venue can transform for corporate events, concerts, weddings and more. Not only is Gilley’s open every day for its crowds of visitors, but it operates as a restaurant, entertainment center, and private function space. The popular Dallas venue brought a new challenge to Netvious but we successfully deployed wireless access points to connect over 5000 people at once.
Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, Texas is a dynamic, fast growing 5,000 member church that utilizes technology as an essential tool of church life. They quickly realized that their existing wireless system could not keep up with the increased bandwidth requirements to effectively support the demands required for streaming and recording sermons, downloading bible applications on tablets in the sanctuary and the ability to collect church donations via mobile applications.
“In looking for wireless coverage for our campus including a 3000-seat auditorium, the decision was easy in that Netvious was able to provide complete wireless coverage in our auditorium with only 2 wireless arrays and to the rest of our 150,000 square food facility with only 19 devices. Netvious was a great company to work with.” – Vicki Dietz, Crossroads Christian Church

Carnegie Mellon is a global research university of more than 10,000 students. The university deployed one of the world’s first campus-wide wireless networks in 1994 and looked to upgrade to the latest 802.11n wireless technology to support high-bandwidth applications and enable online learning. Netvious’ partner, Xirrus, installed eight arrays, with 65% less equipment to deploy compared to traditional Paps and controllers. The solution was designed to be upgraded, not replaced, and supported different devices in various spaces throughout the university.
Ole Miss successfully transformed its sports environment with the help of Xirrus APs. “With 820 Wi-Fi APs inside the stadium, Thompson said the “Rebel Wi-Fi” network is “absolutely a state of the art system,” supporting “tens of thousands” of fans concurrently on the network
during football games.”
